ABOUT FARM STAR

Farm Star Bearing & Electric Inc is an independent company located in Rosenort, Manitoba. We have grown as we tried to fill the sales and service needs in our community and beyond.

We have a sales team to support our product lines which include: Abrasives, Batteries, Bearings, Belts, Electrical Motors & Supplies, Fasteners, Hydraulic Hose & Adaptors, Pressure Washers and parts, Power Transmission, Tools and Welding Gas & Supplies. We are setup to sell into OEM, Industrial, Farm and residential markets.

Our service team repairs Alternators, Starters, Electric Motors, Pressure Washers, Electrical Control panels.

Farm Star was started under the C.G. Auto name in the 1980s and focused primarily on the starter and alternator market. The need in the community for fasteners, belts, batteries, bearings, abrasives, welding supplies and power transmission products led to a showroom and parts counter to meet the demand. Over time the demand for electric motor sales and repair led to an expansion in that line. In 1999 we finally purchased our own building in the center of Rosenort giving us room to keep growing. The next 10 years were spent in that location with steady growth in sales as our customers included more of the manufacturing sector.

In 2008 we felt we were again crowding our facility to the point where we couldn’t expand our services. This led to purchasing a lot and building a new facility in the Rosemor Industrial park, which was completed in spring of 2009. We now have a 60’ x 106’ building with a 1800 square foot showroom, service area and warehousing to meet our customer’s requirements.
